MICROALGAE - DRAGON FRUIT CHIA PUDDING

Let’s check out one of my new favorite products from a company called ZivoLife. They are sourcing pure microalgae known for its high nutritional content along with many various health benefits. I’ve incorporated the microalgae into one of my favorite overnight seeds and buckwheat cereal puddings.
I created a dragon fruit base liquid to mix into the seed mixture and then took 1/2 of that and blended it in the microalgae to create a visually beautiful, tasty, and balanced profile of flavors along with superfood health benefits.
This is highly nutritious, delicious, and right up your alley if supported robust health is a goal. A valuable addition to your lifestyle practices.
Algae cultures provide plant protein, fiber, vitamins, essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and much-needed minerals – A valuable addition to your lifestyle practices.
These little seeds (chia and basil) deliver massive amounts of nutrients with very few calories. Buckwheat cereal has an impressive amount of protein and fiber. The combination of all the above will be your new favorite superfood treat, snack, or meal!

Ingredients

4 servings:

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup basil seeds
  • 1 cup of cream of buckwheat cereal sub oats
  • 1 banana
  • 3 -4 cups plant-based milk divided
  • 1/3 Cup pitaya fruit powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ziovio Life microalgae powder

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine seeds and cereal. Blend the banana, pitaya powder, and 2 cups of milk until smooth and creamy. Pour over the seeds and cereal. Use a whisk to break apart any clumps. Add another 1/2 cup of milk and mix well. Wait 10 minutes, the mixture should be noticeably thicker.
  • Divide the mixture between two bowls. Add Zivolife powder to one of the bowls and whisk in to incorporate the powder.
  • You don’t want the mixture in both bowls to be so thick that you can’t move it around, so if too thick add more milk. Both will plump up more overnight so try thinning out either or with additional milk if it looks too thick.
  • The next day, divide evenly into serving bowls and top with your favorite fruit, granola, or hemp seeds. Enjoy!
